Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Associate Integrations Product Manager position! This is a 6+ month contract with potential to extend and will be hybrid on-site in Mississauga, Ontario. This role will be a T4 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered. 

 

Position Overview: 

We are seeking a technical-minded Associate Product Integration Manager. This role is not simply about managing integrations; you will bring structure to complex hardware and software dependencies, ensure integrations are fully validated, and create documentation that enables scalability and repeatability. You will work on backend systems that power hardware devices similar to self-order kiosks (think modern restaurant ordering platforms) and ensure the full guest experience works flawlessly from device to backend.


What You’ll Be Doing: 

  • Ensure seamless transactions, reliable system performance, and elevated customer experiences
  • Work closely with the Senior Product Manager of Integrations, engineering, design, QA, delivery teams, and external hardware partners to bring high-quality integrations to market.
  • Integration Testing & Quality Assurance
  • Coordinate and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for POS hardware integrations to validate functional, technical, and business requirements.
  • Set up and manage lab/testing environments, including configuring POS hardware, peripherals, and integration scenarios.
  • Document all testing results, validate edge cases, and ensure rigorous quality checks before release.
  • Release & Documentation Management
  • Oversee the release cycle for integration features, ensuring they are fully tested, documented, and delivered on schedule.
  • Prepare clear and accurate release notes, technical details, and communication updates for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineering and QA to triage issues, manage defects, and ensure smooth rollouts.
  • UX Mapping & Product Insights
  • Conduct end-to-end UX mapping before and after integration to confirm seamless experiences across hardware and software touchpoints.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance user experience during and after integration.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Support
  • Provide input and subject-matter expertise to training, product marketing, delivery, and support teams.
  • Respond to integration-related inquiries from delivery teams, offering guidance to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Product Comparison & Feature Analysis
  • Analyze and compare various POS hardware solutions within our ecosystem.
  • Identify feature gaps, competitive insights, and opportunities to improve integration processes and product capabilities.


What You’ll Need to Have:  

  • Experience in product management and QA testing of hardware/software installation, ideally within POS, retail tech, or integrated systems.
  • Strong understanding of hardware + software integration dependencies
  • Comfortable navigating APIs, firmware, backend services, and multi-layer system interactions
  • Experience building UAT test plans and validating complex end-to-end workflows
  • Ability to evaluate integrations from a product mindset (not purely QA)
  • Strong technical documentation skills
  • Create structured, clear, repeatable documentation
  • Ability to build a digestible knowledge base
  • Comfortable using enterprise documentation tools
  • Strong written and cross-functional communication skills
  • Coding is not required, but a technical background and systems understanding is essential.


Pay Range: $32-$37/hr CAD
