Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Software Engineer (.NET/Angular/Azure) position! This is a 12+ month contract opportunity and will be hybrid in Wilmington, DE (on site 4 days per week, 1 day remote). This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services, no C2C.

Position Overview:

The Software Engineer will provide highly technical direction and serve as an application designer for major system enhancements and new application development. This role is responsible for systems analysis, design, development, and support of complex applications, ensuring solutions are technologically sound and aligned with business objectives. The position works closely with business units, technology teams, and leadership while occasionally directing and monitoring less experienced personnel.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead and oversee basic to complex systems analysis, design, and development efforts
• Serve as a key individual contributor on complex, large-scope technical projects
• Maintain strong functional understanding of supported applications and systems
• Direct and coordinate development tasks for team members on small to large projects
• Prepare and manage the technical components of project plans, including effort estimates and timelines
• Participate in full SDLC activities from technical analysis through user acceptance testing
• Prepare and review test data, execute detailed test plans, and perform debugging as needed
• Evaluate complex interrelationships between applications, platforms, and integrated systems
• Develop clear technical and functional specifications and maintain updated systems documentation
• Recommend new technologies, processes, or policies to improve system effectiveness
• Lead or participate in vendor software technical evaluations
• Coordinate between application teams and business units to ensure successful solution delivery
• Drive project milestones and ensure timely delivery of development objectives
• Adhere to company risk, regulatory, and internal control standards

What You’ll Need to Have:

• .NET / C#: Strong hands-on development experience building and supporting enterprise applications
• Angular: Experience developing front-end solutions and integrating with backend services
• Azure: Experience working with Azure cloud services and related infrastructure
• Minimum of an Associate’s degree and 5 years of systems analysis/application development experience
• Experience working across software and hardware platforms
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Experience coordinating between application teams and business stakeholders
• Experience recommending and implementing systems solutions

Pay Range: $60+/hr
