Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Enterprise Architect - Wealth Technology position! This is a 6+ month contract and will be remote in the United States. Travel to Buffalo, NY or Wilmington, DE every 4-6 weeks for in-office collaboration (Monday through Thursday). This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead enterprise architecture strategy and roadmap development for Wealth Management technology, spanning advisor platforms, customer digital experiences, portfolio management, and regulatory reporting capabilities
• Partner with senior Wealth and Technology leadership to define target-state architecture vision, translating business priorities and regulatory requirements into actionable architectural frameworks and principles
• Drive strategic initiatives that enhance advisor productivity, customer experience, and investment capabilities by designing scalable, secure, and resilient solutions across complex financial ecosystems
• Provide architectural oversight and governance throughout solution delivery lifecycles, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards, financial industry regulations, and data privacy requirements
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Wealth business, Digital, Data, Risk, and Core Banking teams to ensure alignment across customer experience, advisor tooling, and investment platforms
• Lead evaluation and integration of wealth platforms including CRM, portfolio management, trading systems, and reporting tools, working with vendors and partners to drive successful implementations
• Research and communicate emerging technologies and industry trends, providing fact-based recommendations to support architectural governance and strategic decision-making
• Create and maintain reference architectures, design patterns, and documentation that accelerate solution delivery and promote architectural consistency across delivery teams

What You'll Need to Have:

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, or enterprise architecture with proven ability to develop and integrate applications using modern architecture principles and patterns
• Deep expertise in Wealth Management domain, including financial planning & advisory, portfolio accounting, trading/execution, brokerage services, and customer reporting platforms
• Strong proficiency with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) and architectural modeling tools, with demonstrated ability to create roadmaps, capability maps, and reference architectures
• Solid understanding of modern technology architectures including cloud platforms (preferably Azure), microservices, APIs, data platforms, and integration patterns
• Experience working in financial services with knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements (FFIEC, SOX, GLBA, GDPR) and ability to architect solutions that meet audit and governance standards
• Proven ability to communicate complex architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership, through clear documentation and compelling presentations
• Experience working in Agile environments with understanding of DevOps and product-centric delivery models
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field

Pay Range: $90-100/hr
