Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Power Platform Engineer with expertise in Power Apps and Sharepoint! This is a 3+ month contract with potential to extend and/or convert and will be remote in the United States. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- We are seeking an experienced Power Platform contractor to design and deliver a centralized marketing auto-shipment platform.
- This person will be 90% heads down development focused.
- The solution will be built primarily using Power Apps (Canvas Apps) with SharePoint Lists as the core data source, and must support 400+ users while maintaining strong performance, scalability, and minimal licensing impact.

Design and build a scalable Power Apps Canvas application that supports a centralized marketing auto-shipment platform.

Architect SharePoint-based data structures, including indexed and delegation-aware list designs to ensure optimal performance with large datasets.
- Develop and implement complex business logic and workflows using Power Automate.
- Implement role-based security and access controls to support multiple user roles across the platform.
- Ensure the application is stable, responsive, and usable for 400+ active users.
- Optimize the platform to minimize licensing impact while maintaining required functionality.
- Monitor performance and proactively identify scalability or data architecture improvements.
- Clearly communicate technical architecture decisions, tradeoffs, and best practices to stakeholders and project team members.
- Collaborate with marketing, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure the solution meets operational needs.
What You’ll Need to Have:
- This role requires someone who understands how to architect delegation-aware Power Apps solutions, optimize SharePoint list structures for scale, and implement complex workflows and business logic within the Power Platform ecosystem.
- 2–3+ years of hands-on experience developing production-grade Power Apps Canvas applications.
- Expertise in heads down development - this person will be independently 90% focused on this project.
- Strong expertise in SharePoint list architecture, including:
- Delegation limits
- Indexed columns
- Large-list performance optimization
- Experience building solutions that support high user-volume environments (hundreds of users).
- Strong working knowledge of Power Automate for workflow automation and business process orchestration.
- Proven ability to design scalable, maintainable Power Platform solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills within Power Apps and SharePoint.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain architectural decisions, constraints, and tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Pay Range: $62-$67/hr
