Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Azure Cloud Developer position! This is a 6-12 month contract and will be remote in United States.

This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead the migration of enterprise document management applications from on-premises infrastructure to Azure Cloud
• Upgrade and modernize Spring Boot framework versions and elevate JDK versions for production applications
• Deploy and manage containerized applications in Azure cloud environments using Spring Cloud Config
• Design and implement cloud-native solutions for wrapper services supporting iText, file, and GraphQL services
• Provide technical leadership and direction for FileNet Content Management system upgrade initiatives
• Collaborate with systems teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless cloud migration and deployment
• Direct and mentor less experienced developers on cloud architecture patterns and best practices
• Evaluate complex interrelationships between applications, platforms, and cloud services to ensure optimal performance
• Prepare technical specifications, documentation, and deployment plans for cloud migration projects
• Execute comprehensive testing plans including integration testing and debugging for cloud-deployed applications

What You'll Need to Have:

• 6+ years of systems analysis and application development experience with focus on enterprise applications
• Strong Azure Cloud development experience with hands-on cloud migration expertise
• Proven proficiency with Spring Boot framework and application modernization initiatives
• Solid experience with Open JDK and Java version upgrades in production environments
• Demonstrated ability to deploy and manage applications in containerized cloud environments
• Experience with enterprise content management systems and complex application integrations
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work independently on cloud migration projects
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate across technical teams and present to stakeholders

Pay Range: $65-70+/hr
