*Buffalo Contract Opportunity*

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Frontend Developer position! This is a 6+ month contract opportunity and will be hybrid in Buffalo, New York. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Complete and oversee basic to complex systems analysis, design, and development.
• Serve as a key individual contributor on complex projects with a deep functional understanding of the supported application(s).
• Direct and monitor junior resources; coordinate development tasks on projects of various scopes.
• Prepare and manage technical components of project plans.
• Collaborate with Development, Operations, and Technology teams from analysis through user acceptance testing.
• Prepare and review test data; execute and debug detailed test plans.
• Analyze complex interrelationships among systems, applications, and platforms.
• Provide leadership in identifying and implementing innovative uses of IT to support business objectives.
• Develop clear technical and functional specifications; create visual aids to support problem analysis.
• Estimate project tasks, durations, and efforts.
• Maintain operational effectiveness of supported applications.
• Recommend new technologies, policies, or process improvements; may lead vendor software evaluations.
• Follow and advocate for development standards and procedures.
• Maintain strong understanding of supported business areas and their strategic direction.

What You'll Need to Have:

• Associate’s degree and 5+ years in systems analysis/application development, or 7+ years of combined education and work experience including 5 years in systems analysis.
• Strong software engineering foundation with hands-on experience in JavaScript and AngularJS.
• Experience in frontend development, including designing, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Business Product Owners and Process Owners to identify and implement process improvements.
• Experience with application development software and hardware platforms.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities with attention to detail.
• Lateral thinking and cross-functional coordination experience.
• Proven ability to recommend and implement systems solutions.
• Demonstrated success driving project milestones and deliverables.

Pay Range: $55-$70/hr +
