*Hybrid Contract Opportunity*

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Scrum Master position! This is a 12+ month contract opportunity and will be hybrid in Buffalo. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Provide servant-leadership and mentorship to multiple cross-functional agile teams using Scrum, Kanban, and XP.
• Educate and coach teams to foster self-organization, cross-functionality, transparency, and continuous improvement.
• Encourage a culture of continuous improvement through retrospectives, transparency, and collaboration.
• Curate and maintain agile coaching content for team guidance.
• Facilitate key Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, reviews, backlog refinement, and more.
• Help teams visualize and communicate progress through information radiators.
• Proactively remove blockers outside the team's control to maintain focus on goals.
• Collaborate with Agile Leaders to enhance organizational Agile practices.
• Mentor junior Scrum Masters and guide agile maturity efforts.
• Promote team and individual development through learning opportunities such as meetups, conferences, and training.
• Adhere to company risk and regulatory standards and escalate issues as necessary.

What You'll Need to Have:

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 4 years experience as a member of an Agile team, including 2+ years as a Scrum Master,
• OR In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of combined higher education and/or relevant work experience, including 4 years on Agile teams and 2+ years as a Scrum Master.
• Strong practical knowledge and hands-on experience with:
• Scrum Framework
• Kanban
• Agile Principles
• Familiarity with practices like user stories, retrospectives, story mapping, ATDD, TDD, continuous integration, pairing, and using information radiators.
• Experience influencing teams and driving Agile adoption in complex environments.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and support teams at varying Agile maturity levels.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.

Pay Range: $50-$63/hr +
