*12+ Month Contract Opportunity*
Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Mortgage Loan Processor position! This is a 12+ month, hybrid opportunity in Ballston Lake, NY. Qualified remote employees will be considered. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Maintain effective communication with customers, brokers, correspondents, loan officers, and internal teams to ensure a seamless loan application process.
- Work with various internal departments and external organizations to obtain necessary processing documentation, including Verification of Employment, IRS Transcripts, title searches, appraisals, and bank statements.
- Notify relevant parties of irregularities related to standard mortgage guidelines.
- Monitor, update, and analyze credit reports, appraisals, income documentation, and verifications to ensure compliance with product, underwriting, and investor guidelines.
- Perform administrative duties such as preparing and mailing commitment letters, reviewing title and homeowner’s insurance, mailing loan suspension notices, and providing closing attorneys with required documentation.
- Ensures adherence to all regulatory requirements and guidelines.
What You'll Need to Have:
- High School diploma or GED.
- One year prior clerical, customer service, operations, or financial services industry experience.
- Good PC skills with strong knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and email software programs.
- Ability to make sound decisions based on information provided.
- Knowledge of Product, Investor and Compliance requirements.
- Versatility and flexibility working within an ever changing fast paced mortgage environment.
- Ability to function independently within time constraints.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized and strong attention to detail.
Pay Rate: $20/hr
