Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Senior Business Analyst position! This is a 6+ month contract-to-hire opportunity and will be hybrid in Charlotte, NC with a willingness to travel <5% of the time. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support complex enterprise initiatives, including SAP transformations, system integrations, and UI/UX-driven feature enhancements. This role is highly collaborative and requires strong documentation discipline, analytical depth, and the ability to translate complex business processes into actionable development-ready requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing:

SAP & Enterprise Transformation Support

• Work within SAP environments (including S/4HANA) to align business requirements with system capabilities and best practices.
• Support financial and supply chain-related modules (e.g., FI, SD, MM, IM, EWM, CO, AP, AR, AM, PCA).
• Ensure solutions align with broader strategic transformation initiatives.

Requirements & Documentation

• Lead detailed requirements gathering across business, product, and technical teams.
• Develop Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and/or partner with Product Owners to build well-defined user stories.
• Translate business needs into clear, testable user stories with robust acceptance criteria.
• Document current-state (As-Is) and future-state (To-Be) processes using tools such as Visio.
• Deliver comprehensive documentation for complex initiatives, including system integrations and cross-platform workflows.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Product Managers, functional leads, developers, QA, and third-party vendors.
• Validate requirements with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Facilitate discussions that drive cross-functional decisions and clarify dependencies.
• Identify risks, process gaps, and integration impacts early in the lifecycle.

Agile Delivery & Execution

• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives).
• Contribute to backlog refinement and break down complex features into development-ready tasks.
• Track deliverables to ensure milestones are met on time and to quality standards.
• Support post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement efforts.

Testing & Validation

• Develop and execute test cases and test scripts.
• Collaborate with QA teams to support end-to-end system and integration testing.
• Validate system outputs to confirm alignment with defined requirements.
• Use SQL queries to analyze data outputs and validate data accuracy across systems.

Complex Features & Integrations

• Lead requirement gathering for complex integrations between enterprise systems.
• Support UI/UX-heavy features by defining detailed business logic, edge cases, and process flows.
• Ensure scalable, sustainable solution design across integrated platforms.

What You’ll Need:

Required Experience

• 7–8+ years of Business Analyst experience in enterprise software or ERP environments.
• Strong experience gathering and documenting detailed functional and technical requirements.
• Hands-on experience supporting SAP implementations or enhancements (S/4HANA strongly preferred).
• Proven experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, SAFe, or similar).
• Experience supporting complex system integrations.
• Ability to perform data analysis using SQL queries.
• Experience creating process flows and business diagrams (Visio or similar).
• Experience translating complex UI/UX functionality into structured requirements.

Technical & Functional Expertise

• Experience with SAP modules such as FI, SD, MM, IM, EWM, AM, AP, AR, CO, or PCA.
• Strong understanding of business process modeling (As-Is / To-Be).
• Ability to write clear, structured BRDs and epics/user stories.
• Experience developing and executing test cases.

Preferred Skills / Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field preferred.
• Experience with Confluence and/or Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Familiarity with Miro or other collaboration tools.
• Exposure to enterprise digital transformation programs.
• Prior experience supporting UI/UX redesign initiatives.

Pay Range: $50-$55/hr
