Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Scrum Master/Team Coach position! This is a 12+ month contract-to-hire opportunity and will be hybrid in Charlotte, NC. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
What You'll Be Doing:
Lead Agile Delivery Across Multiple Product Teams
- Serve as Scrum Master for several concurrent, high-visibility product teams delivering unattended retail solutions across the U.S.
- Guide teams in applying Scrum principles effectively in a fast-paced, multi-line-of-business environment.
- Ensure consistent execution of all Scrum events (Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives) within defined timeboxes and with clear outcomes.
Remove Impediments & Drive Continuous Improvement
- Proactively identify and remove blockers impacting team velocity or delivery timelines.
- Coach teams to focus on delivering measurable business value each Sprint.
- Translate retrospective feedback into actionable process improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to Definition of Done and quality standards across all deliverables.
Partner Closely with Product Owners & Stakeholders
- Support Product Owners in backlog refinement, prioritization, and clarification of work items.
- Facilitate effective communication between development teams, business stakeholders, and dependent teams.
- Promote transparency of Scrum artifacts and performance metrics to enable data-driven decision-making.
Monitor & Optimize Team Performance
- Track and analyze team velocity, sprint performance, and delivery metrics.
- Use performance insights to improve predictability, efficiency, and overall team effectiveness.
- Drive increased agile maturity across teams in collaboration with Agile Delivery leadership.
What You’ll Need to Have
Agile & Scrum Expertise
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master.
- Strong working knowledge of Scrum principles as outlined in the Scrum Guide.
- Demonstrated ability to apply agile methodologies to solve complex delivery challenges.
- Experience operating in iterative, service-oriented development environments.
Technical & Delivery Background
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in the full IT software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Proven experience supporting large-scale or complex software implementations.
- Strong understanding of technology product delivery in enterprise environments.
Leadership & Influence
- Ability to build immediate credibility with technical teams, Product Owners, and executive stakeholders.
- Skilled at gaining consensus and driving outcomes through influence rather than authority.
- Comfortable facilitating cross-team collaboration where technical or operational dependencies exist.
Communication & Analytical Strength
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to navigate competing priorities while maintaining structured, disciplined Scrum execution.

Pay Range: $52-$57/hr
