Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Application Support Engineer position! This is a 12+ month contract opportunity and will be hybrid in Buffalo. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Maintain and support the organization's Equipment Finance suite of applications.
  • Develop, support, and enhance software and web applications using .NET, C#, JavaScript, SQL Server, and Oracle.
  • Utilize GitLab, Ansible, and Artifactory in CI/CD pipeline management and deployment.
  • Diagnose and resolve software defects using MS Visual Studio and SQL Server Management Studio.
  • Address user incidents and perform server patching via ServiceNow and Ansible.
  • Use SQL for internal database administration and query optimization.
  • Apply Agile methodologies for work planning, refinement, and daily task tracking using JIRA.
  • Lead, mentor, and monitor junior technicians and provide training as needed.
  • Provide technical and functional support to end users and engage with senior leadership via presentations.
  • Validate application controls against Risk, Regulatory, and Cybersecurity standards and policies.
  • Perform server builds, configuration, and patching across Linux Red Hat and Windows environments.
  • Must be available to work outside normal business hours and participate in an on-call rotation, including nights and weekends.


What You'll Need to Have:

  • Hands-on experience with .NET, C#, JavaScript, SQL Server, Oracle, VB, SSIS, and API development.
  • Proven expertise in CI/CD pipeline design and deployment using GitLab, ServiceNow, and Ansible.
  • Experience developing and maintaining multiple application integrations and environments.
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, task refinement, and JIRA usage.
  • Experience supporting production environments, including maintenance and patching of Linux Red Hat and Windows servers.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to train and lead junior technical staff.


Pay Range: $55-$70/hr +
