Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Senior Systems Analyst position! This is a 6+ month contract-to-hire opportunity and will be hybrid on site in Charlotte, NC. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered. 

What You’ll Be Doing:

 Business & Requirements Analysis

• Serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring enterprise-level applications are aligned with business needs and delivered with high quality.
• Partner directly with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, third-party vendors, and end users to identify and interpret business needs.
• Elicit, analyze, and document detailed application requirements through interviews, job shadowing, facilitation sessions, process mapping, and business analysis techniques.
• Translate business requirements into solution designs in collaboration with architects, developers, and product teams.
• Create detailed documentation including requirements specifications, process flows, and UI mockups through final signoff.
• Ensure documentation and deliverables meet enterprise standards and quality expectations.

Agile Delivery & Backlog Management

• Participate in backlog grooming and refinement sessions.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and development teams to ensure the backlog contains well-defined, granular user stories ready for development.
• Support on-time development of user stories, requirements, and supporting artifacts.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Write and execute functional test scripts.
• Coordinate system integration testing with other analysts and QA resources.
• Validate system deliverables to ensure they meet documented requirements and are free of defects.
• Provide configuration support and escalated application support as needed.

Systems Support & Troubleshooting

• Perform in-depth analysis and critical thinking to troubleshoot application-related issues.
• Assist in issue resolution by evaluating system behavior, data flow, and technical dependencies.
• Develop a deep understanding of complex business processes to support cross-functional decision-making.
• Manage competing priorities while facilitating alignment across diverse user groups.

What You’ll Need to Have:

• 3-5+ years of experience in a Functional Analyst or Systems Analyst role.
• Demonstrated experience delivering:
• Well-defined user stories and application requirements
• Process flow diagrams and functional documentation
• Requirements elicitation using structured techniques
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Experience using Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Strong SQL skills, including interpreting stored procedures & understanding parameters, data flow, and business logic within SPs
• Proven ability to translate business needs into practical system solutions.
• Experience creating UI design documentation and/or mockups with detailed requirements.
• General understanding of application architecture and supporting technologies.

Preferred Skills:

• Formal training or certification in Business Analysis, facilitation, or project/product management.

Pay Range: $52-$57/hr
