*Hybrid Contract-to-Hire Opportunity*
Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Enterprise Architect (Corporate Functions) position! This is a 6+ month contract-to-hire opportunity and will be hybrid in Buffalo, NY. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
Position Overview
As an Enterprise Architect for Corporate Functions, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s technology strategy, landscape, and roadmap. In this role, you will serve as an integrative force across business and technology domains, establish trusted advisor partnerships with senior leaders, and drive the architecture of complex, high-priority initiatives that deliver significant business value. Your work will influence large-scale programs that are critical to the bank’s long-term success, ensuring scalable, resilient, and forward-looking solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Define and evolve enterprise architecture strategies and roadmaps across finance, risk, HR, procurement, and other corporate functions.
- Bridge the gap between IT and business functions, ensuring alignment with compliance, efficiency, and strategic decision-making.
- Develop high-level architectural models and frameworks for secure, scalable, and resilient solutions.
- Translate strategic objectives into actionable solution architectures for delivery and engineering teams.
- Define target architectures for applications such as Oracle Financials, Workday, EPM, Treasury, Tax, and FP&A.
- Lead modernization of financial systems and translate CFO priorities into technical roadmaps.
- Champion FinOps practices to align cloud and IT spend with financial objectives.
- Ensure solutions comply with financial regulations, internal risk frameworks, and data privacy standards.
- Collaborate with business leaders and technical teams to align architecture across systems and platforms.
- Oversee architecture governance during solution delivery, ensuring adherence to standards.
- Communicate complex architecture concepts to diverse stakeholders.
What You’ll Need to Have:
- 7+ years in enterprise architecture, with 5+ years in finance and risk domains.
- Knowledge of institutional banking products and services such as capital markets, investment management, structured finance, and M&A.
- Experience delivering innovation in financial services.
- Software engineering and architecture experience, including modern integration practices.
- Ability to align architecture with business strategy across complex financial services ecosystems.
- Deep understanding of finance, HR, risk, and procurement functions.
- Proficient in TOGAF, Zachman, or similar frameworks.
- Skilled in scalable, secure solution design.
- Experience integrating diverse systems and platforms.
- Strong understanding of regulatory and compliance standards.
- Proven leadership in collaborating with executives and technical stakeholders.
- Strong documentation and visualization skills.
- Ability to lead transformation initiatives and stay current with evolving technologies.
- Financial systems (GL, AP/AR, Treasury, FP&A), HR (Workday), and procurement tools (Ariba, Concur).
- Risk systems, regulatory compliance frameworks, and audit practices.
- Cloud, APIs, microservices, and data platforms.
- Data governance, analytics, cybersecurity, and IT governance.
- Agile, DevOps, and product-centric delivery models.
Pay Range: $60-$75+/hr
