Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their IT Project Manager position! This is a 12+ month contract with potential to extend/convert to direct hire opportunity. This person will be remote in the United States with the ability to travel up to 25%. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Managing Project Execution
- Lead and coordinate the day-to-day activities of technical team members to ensure work is progressing toward defined project milestones.
- Develop and manage project plans that include scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables.
- Ensure projects stay on schedule by proactively identifying risks, issues, and dependencies and driving appropriate resolutions.
Driving Project Planning & Coordination
- Oversee all aspects of project management including planning, resource coordination, vendor management, communications, and risk management.
- Clearly define project deliverables, roles, and responsibilities for all team members involved in project initiatives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
Facilitating Collaboration & Communication
- Lead regular project meetings to review progress, address challenges, and remove roadblocks.
- Promote collaboration and teamwork across technical teams and project stakeholders.
- Maintain strong communication with team members, leadership, and external partners.
Monitoring Progress & Reporting
- Track project milestones, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.
- Provide clear and consistent status updates and reporting to stakeholders and leadership.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure transparency across all phases of the project lifecycle.
What You’ll Need to Have
Experience
- Strong experience in IT project management or a related coordination role.
- Experience working with technical teams within a technology or IT environment.
- Exposure to managing projects that involve multiple stakeholders or external vendors.
Project & Organizational Skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to maintain structured project plans and documentation.
- Excellent time management skills to keep projects on track from initiation through completion.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Experience mentoring, coaching, or supporting team members within a technology environment.
- Ability to foster a collaborative team environment and promote effective teamwork.
- Strong sense of accountability when leading project teams and making project-related decisions.
Communication & Adaptability
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate project status clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt quickly and adjust project plans when priorities or requirements change.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where flexibility and problem-solving are required.
Additional Requirements
- Ability to travel as needed (up to 25%).
Pay Range: $70-$75/hr
