Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Power Platform + AI Lead Developer position! This is a 12+ month contract-to-hire opportunity based in Charlotte, North Carolina, and is open to local and remote candidates. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Power Platform Lead with proven experience leveraging Microsoft Power Platforms & AI capabilities to design, build, and optimize business applications and automation. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with an innovative mindset, using tools like Power Apps, Power Automate, AI Builder, Copilot, Azure AI Foundry and Azure AI integration to deliver intelligent, low-code solutions that drive measurable value.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead architecture, design, and development of intelligent business applications using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse).
• Implement AI Builder models for document processing, classification, prediction, sentiment analysis, and object detection.
• Leverage Copilot for natural language-based app creation, flow development, and user experiences.
• Integrate Azure AI Services (OpenAI, Cognitive Services) with Power Platform to create intelligent, low-code solutions.
• Provide technical support, guidance, and troubleshooting for Power Platform users and makers.
• Monitor platform usage and performance using the CoE Starter Kit and act on anomalies or issues.
• Develop workflows in Power Automate with AI-based decisioning and semantic intelligence.
• Enable intelligent features such as semantic search, relationship suggestions, and categorization in Dataverse.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify automation and AI opportunities.
• Translate business requirements into user stories and technical designs.
• Deliver training and documentation to drive adoption of Power Platform and AI features.
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, governance, and performance best practices.
• Stay current with Microsoft roadmap updates and new AI features in Power Platform.

What You'll Need to Have:

• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse).
• Experience using AI Builder for document processing, prediction, and text analytics.
• Hands-on experience with Copilot for app and flow creation.
• Strong skills in low-code development best practices and data modeling.
• Proficiency working with connectors (e.g., SharePoint, SQL, Dynamics 365).
• Excellent collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to engage effectively with senior leadership.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience integrating Azure AI Services with Power Platform.
• Knowledge of Copilot Studio for conversational AI bots.
• Familiarity with DAX, Power Query (M), and advanced analytics in Power BI.
• Microsoft Power Platform certifications.

Pay Range: $77-$83/hr
