Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Technology Equipment Technician & Sales Representative II position! This is a 3+ month contract opportunity and will be onsite in Cheektowaga, NY. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Manage projects related to configuration and operation of systems hardware/software for corporate technology equipment.
- Work with technology management and support teams to manage disposition and refurbishment of devices (laptops, desktops, mobile, etc.).
- Serve as a direct point of contact for the sale of refurbished equipment to clients and customers.
- Use ServiceNow for issue management, order triage, ticket processing, and participate in enhancement meetings.
- Coordinate equipment logistics across the organization: assess condition, estimate resale value, and ensure inventory availability.
- Facilitate vendor communications and internal meetings.
- Maintain compliance with risk and regulatory standards.
What You'll Need to Have:
- Minimum of 4 years combined higher education and/or relevant work experience.
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills, including PC components and peripherals.
- Familiarity with IT service management systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Hands-on experience in testing, refurbishing, and supporting a wide range of tech devices.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+ + CE (must obtain within 1 year if not currently certified); HP Commercial Service Qualification (within 6 months if not currently certified).
- Ability to lift/move items over 50 pounds; physically active role.
Pay Range: $25/hr
