Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Senior Full Stack Engineer (Platform & APIs) position! This is a 6+ month contract-to-hire opportunity and will be hybrid on site in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered. 

What You’ll Be Doing: 

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full stack applications across both front-end and back-end layers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, QA, DevOps) to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Build and enhance APIs and services to support modern, distributed applications
• Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
• Support CI/CD pipelines and contribute to automation and deployment processes
• Ensure application security, reliability, and scalability standards are met

What You’ll Need to Have: 

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, with senior-level ownership of projects and deliverables
• Strong proficiency in both front-end and back-end development (modern frameworks and languages)
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with microservices architectures
• Solid understanding of database design and data management (SQL and/or NoSQL)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar) and CI/CD tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Pay Range: $55-60/hr
