*Remote Contract Opportunity*

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Business Data Analyst position! This is a 6+ month contract opportunity and will be remote in the United States. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assist in implementing the Data Management Program within an assigned area of the Bank.
• Develop a basic understanding of data management practices.
• Calculate metrics to measure compliance with business and Enterprise Data Management policy and standards.
• Document metadata for identified critical data elements.
• Monitor data quality and support units in resolving data quality exceptions.
• Update data issue remediation documentation.
• Use business intelligence tools to understand data within assigned areas.
• Analyze data sets and provide insights to team members.
• Adhere to risk and regulatory standards, identifying issues for escalation.
• Maintain internal control standards, implementing audit recommendations.

What You'll Need to Have:

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 1 year of professional experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 5 years of higher education and/or work experience, including 1 year of professional experience.
• Familiarity with SQL or SAS code.
• Experience writing business documents and technical requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated analytical ability.
• Creative problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, graphing, and presentation tools.
• Banking or data management industry experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of Data Management principles preferred.

Pay Range: $26-$36/hr +
