*Hybrid Contract Opportunity*

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Java Developer position! This is a 5+ month contract opportunity and will be hybrid in Buffalo. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Complete and oversee basic to complex systems analysis, design, and development tasks.
• Play a key role as an individual contributor on complex projects.
• Maintain a strong functional understanding of supported applications.
• Direct and monitor less experienced resources; coordinate development tasks.
• Prepare and manage the technical component of project plans.
• Participate in overall systems development direction from technical analysis to user acceptance testing.
• Prepare and review test data; execute detailed test plans and debugging.
• Analyze complex interrelationships among programs and platforms.
• Provide analytical consulting and leadership for new technology use.
• Prepare technical and functional specifications; create supporting documentation.
• Review documentation and project assessments.
• Recommend and evaluate new technology or software.
• Follow and promote development standards and procedures.
• Maintain understanding of supported business operations and strategy.
• May assist in budgeting tasks.
• Adhere to company risk, regulatory standards, and internal control standards.

What You'll Need to Have:

• Associate degree with 5+ years of systems analysis/application development experience, or 7+ years combined education and work experience.
• Proficient in Java-Springboot, Microservices, and Azure.
• Familiarity with application development software and platforms.
• Proficiency in PCs and project management tools.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience coordinating between IT and business units.
• Ability to recommend and implement system solutions.
• Experience with project milestones and delivery execution.

Pay Range: $55-$70/hr +
